The Chroma Edit: Lighting 2026 — The Lights Issue

THE LIGHTS ISSUE
Lighting is one of the few design elements that is both object and atmosphere. A chandelier can redraw the perceived ceiling height. A wall light can widen a corridor. A table lamp can make a seating group feel intimate. Colored glass can become the room's single decisive accent, while alabaster can soften an entire palette without adding visual noise.
This combined issue brings the strongest material from our earlier lighting editions into one source book. It is presented for inspiration and design education: a study of scale, proportion, placement, material, layering, color temperature, shadow and room composition.
No image in this issue should be treated as an exact product representation unless Chroma Rua explicitly verifies it. The editorial imagery is here to teach how lighting shapes a room—not to imply a specific item, finish, scale or availability.

Lighting at Human Scale
Beyond the chandelier, sculptural table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights bring light down into the room and make evening interiors feel finished. Use them to shape reading corners, consoles, bedside compositions and architectural transitions.

For Inspiration and Design Education
The Chroma Edit is an editorial design publication. Imagery may be conceptual, styled, supplier-sourced or created for visual education. Unless a product is explicitly verified and identified by Chroma Rua, imagery should be read as inspiration—not as a promise of an exact item, finish, scale or availability.
