Design & Details
A faux delphinium stem with a tall, dramatic spire of garden blooms.
A 35-inch delphinium stem with a tall, vertical spire of nineteen light blue blooms and eight buds, in the dense, dramatic shape of a real delphinium. A believable blue is hard to find in a faux flower, and this one has it. The tall cottage-garden flower for a console or buffet vase.
Delphinium is a classic English cottage-garden flower, and a few gathered in a tall vase read full, vertical, and dramatic.
- ✓ Looks like real delphinium — a tall spike densely packed with florets up the stem
- ✓ Nineteen blooms and eight buds — 1 to 2.5 inches each, climbing a single spire
- ✓ Tall, vertical drama — the dramatic cottage-garden spire delphinium is known for
- ✓ Shapeable to your needs — bend the wired stem into any shape your design needs
- ✓ Splits at 17 inches — right out of the box, no trimming needed, it sits in a tall vase around 16 to 18 inches
- ✓ Cuts shorter if you need it — to cut the stem into shorter pieces for your design, a good pair of craft wire cutters does it
- ✓ No upkeep, ever — no water, no wilting, no dropping petals
Gather three or five in a tall vase on an entryway console, dining buffet, sideboard, or mantel for a dramatic vertical spray, with a single stem reading a little sparse on its own. A floor urn works too for a taller display. It carries just a few leaves of its own, so tuck in eucalyptus or soft greenery to fill it out. Pair with peonies, roses, or larkspur for a cottage-garden look. Delphinium is a late-spring and summer favorite. Sold by the stem.
